All joists trusses and braces are 35mm thick and 71mm wide.

This is done by plumbing the truss and securing as described above for the first gable end.
The attic length is 5m 4 93 from end brace to brace and im aware that i cant get a 5m plank of wood up into the roof space so my plan was to divide the new lateral brace into 3 and have it overlap two braces from each plank.
If the roof is nipped the hip trusses in connection with the ceiling beams rafters and purlins will brace the roof endways so as to make a very rigid construction.

Locate additional restraints at pitch breaks and install vertical braces at their locations.
If the roof terminates against gable walls the roof should be braced in the end panels by diagonal braces extending from the purlins to the ceiling joists close to the gable.
