The townhouse has four full floors plus an additional partial basement and contains slightly over 4 000 square feet of living space. The tew house with its high mansard roof distinctive dormer windows ornamental roof cresting and cut stone bands connecting windows and walls is a splendid example of that style. It is a brick structure with a slate mansard roof featuring the original wrought iron roof decoration. Earlier writings about the house state that it was built in 1845 but this has not yet been documented.
